Role & responsibilities

Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the
CBSE English curriculum (Classes XI & XII)
.
Develop and execute
lesson plans
that foster literary appreciation, grammar proficiency, and effective communication.
Guide students in
critical analysis of prose, poetry, and drama
, encouraging original thought and expression.
Use a variety of teaching strategies, including
group discussions, debates, presentations
, and creative writing.
Prepare students for
board examinations
, focusing on comprehension, writing skills, and literature analysis.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects with
timely, constructive feedback
.
Integrate
digital tools and smart classroom technology
to enrich the teaching-learning experience.
Foster a classroom environment that is
inclusive, respectful, and inspiring
, promoting active participation.
Organize and support
co-curricular activities
such as elocution, dramatics, and literary clubs.

Preferred candidate profile

M.A. in English
from a recognized university and
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)
is mandatory.
Minimum
25 years of experience
teaching English at the
Senior Secondary level (CBSE board)
.
Excellent command over
spoken and written English
.
Sound knowledge of
CBSE exam patterns, marking schemes
, and literature texts.
Experience in guiding students in
essay writing, comprehension, and grammar
for board exams.
Familiarity with
digital teaching platforms
(Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.) is preferred.
CTET-qualified candidates.
