Responsibilities Job Title: PGT (Economics) Reports to: Principal & Deputy Director Job Profile: A committed teacher, adaptive to learning environment and supportive to responsibilities in a day-cum residential school. Brief of Duties and responsibilities • Understanding the curriculum and developing schedules, lesson plans, and teaching methods that will help students cover the required content. • Preparing and delivering lessons that are stimulating and clear. • Educating students on lab safety and ensuring all experiments are carried out responsibly. • Setting up tests, assignments, and grading students fairly. • Ensuring appropriate resources and consultation times are available to students. • Mentoring and providing support to stuand other continuing educationdent & co-teachers. • Attendingstaffandparent meetings, conferences, workshops, andother continuingeducation programs. • Handling various administration functions, which include updating student records, monitoring students progress etc. • Ensuring a safe, healthy classroom environment where learning can take place. • Checking and assessing the work of students • Taking remedial and extra classes (in case of day teacher), prB.Edep and tutorial duties (in case of residential teacher) • Preparing students for subject-based competitions and events • Accountable for all official duties and responsibilities assigned by authorities • Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere. • Willing to conduct classes effectively through onsite and online modes. Work Experience: Min 2 years as PGT in a reputed school. Selection Process: Written Examination, Subject Demo & Personal/Walk-in Interview.
