Job Title: PGT Economics Teacher
Job Location: Kovai vidyashram CBSE school, Kangayam
Position Type: Full-time
Qualification:Postgraduate Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Economics from a recognized university

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory

Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching Economics at senior secondary level (Class 11 and 12) in CBSE curriculum

Key Responsibilities:
Teach Economics to Classes 11 and 12 as per the prescribed curriculum.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with learning objectives.

Develop students’ analytical thinking and understanding of key economic concepts and current issues.

Maintain a stimulating, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Conduct regular class tests, assignments, and projects to evaluate students' progress

Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate inter-disciplinary teaching.

Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and workshops.

Stay updated with the latest teaching methods, tools, and developments in economics and education.

Prepare academic reports and submit student progress records regularly.

Skills Required:
Strong subject knowledge

Classroom management and student engagement ability

Familiarity with digital tools and smart classroom technologies
