Job description: We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic PGT Chemistry teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Chemistry concepts, experience in delivering the CBSE syllabus for senior secondary students, and a passion for encouraging scientific inquiry. The role involves preparing students for their Class XII CBSE exams and guiding them to excel in both academic and co-curricular activities. Key Responsibilities: Teach Chemistry to students in Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, experiments, and activities to ensure a comprehensive understanding of theoretical and practical Chemistry concepts. Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning. Prepare students for the Class XII board exams. Foster an interactive and collaborative classroom environment where students can ask questions and engage with the subject. Provide guidance and mentorship to students, offering career counseling related to Chemistry and Science fields. Maintain up-to-date records of student performance and share progress with parents/guardians. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and science exhibitions. Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated with educational advancements. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry) from a recognized university. Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) is mandatory. A minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school at the senior secondary level. Deep understanding of the CBSE Chemistry syllabus for Class XI and XII. Proficiency in using modern teaching tools and technology, such as smart boards and online teaching platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teaching. Desired Skills: Ability to simplify complex Chemistry topics and present them in an engaging manner. Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching. Experience in conducting lab experiments and guiding students in practical work. Enthusiasm for science and the ability to inspire students.
