PGT Biology Teacher

You are a dedicated and knowledgeable PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Biology educator responsible for teaching senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12). Your role involves delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for board exams and competitive exams, and cultivating a profound understanding of biological sciences. You will plan and execute high-quality Biology lessons in accordance with the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board), using interactive teaching methods to elucidate complex biological concepts. Additionally, you will prepare students for board examinations, competitive exams (NEET, Olympiads, etc.), and practical assessments, leveraging modern teaching tools, smart boards, and technology-enhanced learning methods. Your responsibilities include developing lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that align with academic standards, evaluating student performance through tests, quizzes, and projects, and offering constructive feedback and personalized guidance to students. You will also conduct laboratory experiments, guide students in scientific inquiry and research projects, and ensure the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment and safety procedures. It is essential for you to foster a passion for biology and scientific exploration among students, encourage critical thinking, research skills, and problem-solving abilities, and provide academic counseling and mentorship to support students" career growth. Collaboration with other faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience, participation in school events, science exhibitions, and extracurricular activities, as well as attending staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs are integral parts of your role. This is a full-time position with a day shift, morning shift schedule, requiring a Master's degree as the preferred educational qualification.
