P1,C3,STSWe are seeking a passionate and results-driven Performance Test Engineer to join our QA and Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, scripting, and executing performance test scenarios using Apache JMeter. You should be comfortable diving into Java or Groovy code for custom scripting, and skilled in using performance monitoring tools to identify system bottlenecks and ensure optimal system performance.Atleast 3 to 5+ years relevant technical work experience,with following key responsibilities Design and develop performance test scripts using Apache JMeter or equivalent tools.Create robust test scenarios including load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand performance goals.Build reusable and modular JMeter components for different test scenarios.Integrate custom logic using Java/Groovy Beanshell or JSR223 scripting where necessary.Simulate user loads and analyze system behavior under different loads and conditions.Monitor server and application metrics using tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Kibana.Collect and analyze performance data, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations.Generate clear and concise performance reports with actionable insights.Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning efforts with the DevOps and Infra teams.Maintain and enhance performance test frameworks and CI/CD integrations. 3+ years of hands-on experience with JMeter scripting for web, API, or database testing.Solid programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Groovy, or JavaScript.Strong understanding of HTTP protocol, REST APIs, cookies, session management, and thread modeling.Proficiency with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Kibana, or Grafana.Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.) and version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket).Understanding of load generators, test data strategy, and environment setup.Ability to read and interpret application logs, stack traces, and system metrics for troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud-based load testing (e.g., BlazeMeter, AWS/GCP/Azure Load Testing toolsExposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of performance testing in microservices architecture.Familiarity with SQL queries and DB performance
