Job Description

As a skilled Performance Testing Engineer, your main responsibility will be to assess and optimize the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of applications. You will design and execute performance tests, analyze results, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks, enhancing system efficiency. Your key tasks will include designing and implementing performance testing strategies for web, mobile, and backend systems, developing and maintaining performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling, executing various tests like load, stress, spike, and endurance tests to simulate real-world usage, monitoring system performance using APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic, analyzing test results to provide actionable insights to development and DevOps teams, collaborating across teams to resolve performance issues and optimize system behavior, documenting test plans, scenarios, results, and recommendations in clear and concise reports, and integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Key Requirements: - Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, etc. - Strong understanding of performance testing types including load, stress, spike, and soak. - Proficiency in analyzing system metrics like CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network latency. - Experience with profiling and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics. - Ability to interpret logs and trace data to identify root causes of performance issues.
