Performance Tester

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to design execute and analyze performance tests for mission critical applications The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the scalability stability and responsiveness of systems under various load conditions This role involves close collaboration with development DevOps and infrastructure teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend performance optimizationsKey ResponsibilitiesTest Planning and StrategyDefine performance testing objectives scope and approach for applications and systemsDevelop detailed performance test plans and workload models based on business and technical requirementsTest Design and DevelopmentDesign and develop performance test scripts and scenarios using tools such as JMeter LoadRunner Neoload or GatlingCreate parameterized data driven and reusable test scriptsExecution and MonitoringExecute load stress endurance and spike tests to assess system behavior under varying loadsMonitor server and application metrics CPU memory database network response time throughputCollaborate with DevOps teams to run tests in CICD pipelines or cloud environmentsAnalysis and ReportingAnalyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks scalability issues and potential risksProvide detailed performance reports with root cause analysis and optimization recommendationsPresent findings to technical and non technical stakeholdersCollaborationWork with developers architects and infrastructure teams to tune applications and optimize system performanceSupport continuous performance monitoring post deploymentContinuous ImprovementEvaluate and implement new tools and techniques for performance testing and monitoringDevelop and maintain performance testing frameworks and best practices

Required Skills And Qualifications

3 6 years of experience in performance testing and engineeringHands on experience with one or more performance testing toolsApache JMeter LoadRunner Neoload Gatling or k6Experience in scripting with Java Python Groovy or JavaScript for custom test logicStrong knowledge of performance metrics bottleneck analysis and profiling techniquesExperience with application performance monitoring APM tools like Dynatrace AppDynamics Grafana or New RelicFamiliarity with web technologies HTTP REST APIs JSON XML and databases SQL NoSQLUnderstanding of cloud environments AWS Azure GCP and CICD pipelinesStrong analytical problem solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in distributed performance testing and containerized environments Docker KubernetesFamiliarity with monitoring stacks such as ELK Prometheus or InfluxDBExposure to microservices and event driven architecturesKnowledge of performance engineering techniques capacity planning scalability modeling and tuningCertification in performance testing tools or APM platforms eg Micro Focus LoadRunner Professional Certification
