Job Description

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineering & Observability Architect to design and implement cutting-edge observability solutions and optimize system performance across distributed, cloud-native environments.

Role: Performance Engineering Architect
Location: All Persistent Locations
Experience: 11 to 20 Years
Job Type: Full Time Employment

What You'll Do:

You will architect and implement observability solutions, develop custom tools, and ensure system reliability and scalability.
Architect and implement observability solutions using OpenTelemetry (OTel), Prometheus, Cortex, Thanos, and ClickHouse.
Develop and maintain custom tools and integrations using Go and BugSnag CLI for error monitoring and performance tracking.
Design and manage performance data pipelines for real-time analytics and visualization.
Optimize system performance across microservices and distributed environments.
Implement alerting, dashboards, and reporting for proactive monitoring.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to embed observability in the SDLC.
Troubleshoot complex performance issues and provide actionable insights.
Drive best practices for reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Expertise You'll Bring:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in observability and performance engineering.
10+ years of experience in performance engineering and observability.
Strong programming skills in Go
CLI for error monitoring
OpenTelemetry (OTel) for distributed tracing
ClickHouse for high-performance analytics
Prometheus, Cortex, Thanos for metrics and monitoring
Expertise in performance data analysis and visualization.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with Linux environments, scripting, and automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
