As the Principal at Apeejay Education Society in Delhi, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the school, both academically and administratively. Your role will involve coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the school. You will be tasked with developing and implementing appropriate strategies, action plans, and initiatives to elevate the CBSE school to a world-class level. Providing leadership to build a strong academic and administrative team, enhancing curriculum and pedagogies, and ensuring the delivery of academic and value-added programs within set parameters will be crucial aspects of your role. In terms of administration, you will be expected to execute administrative duties with high standards, manage admissions, allocate duties, supervise staff, and ensure facilities are in accordance with mandates. Networking, coordination, and troubleshooting with relevant authorities and stakeholders such as the Directorate of Education, CBSE, and NCERT will also be part of your responsibilities. Brand building and promotion, ensuring safety and security of students and staff, sustainability in various aspects including academics, finances, infrastructure, and people management, as well as people development and processes improvement will be key focus areas for you as the Principal. Your role will also involve compliance with regulatory, internal, statutory, and legal mandates, organizing and executing required meetings, and ensuring adherence to norms, policies, and codes of conduct. Continuous self-development, staying updated on best practices in the education sector, and participating in relevant workshops and conferences will also be expected from you. The ideal candidate for this position will have a regular B.Ed, a post-graduate degree in a teaching subject, a professional degree in education, and preferably good management acumen. You should have at least 8 years of experience as a Principal in schools with a student strength of 1500-2000 students or above, with a preferred age group of 45-50 years. Experience in managing global-level schools and a commitment to human values are desirable qualities for this role. In addition to strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial, and people skills, you should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, brand promotion skills, be a team player, and have proficiency in IT. A background in good CBSE schools, expert knowledge of CBSE regulations, and experience in creating and implementing new processes effectively will be advantageous for this position.,
