Overview of the Role: The candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of IT infrastructure and services within their designated region. This role involves guiding, supervising, and monitoring all team members in the execution of IT services Areas of Responsibility: Procurement & Deployment of IT Assets: Procure IT assets in accordance with established needs, budget allocations, approvals, and purchase orders, in consultation with the reporting manager, Operations, and Admin Departments. Asset Record Maintenance: Allocate IT assets to individual staff members based on their specific needs and requirements within the office environment. Track and tag IT assets, including laptops, mobile phones, CPUs, projectors, tablets etc. Maintain comprehensive records of IT assets and mobile devices in both stock registers and the central database. Ensure the maintenance of all office assets. Formulate and document strategies and plans for the office's IT structure (internet, printer, backup, data confidentiality of backed-up data) in line with IT Policy and received instructions. Oversee the maintenance of office data backups on servers/external storage as per policy and guidelines. Asset Maintenance: Identify and establish liaisons with reliable, authorized vendors for the maintenance of IT equipment. Facilitate the repair of equipment with the assigned vendor.
