Pega CSSA Engineers

As a Pega CSSA Engineer based in Chennai, you will be responsible for developing smooth and efficient onboarding processes and other procedures related to Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. Working within an agile squad alongside Ops engineers, Business specialists, and other Pega Dev engineers, you will contribute to the Global KYC Tribe's focus on business delivery, as well as be part of a Pega Dev Chapter dedicated to enhancing your engineering craftsmanship. Your role will involve collaborating within an Agile/Scrum framework, emphasizing iterative and incremental software development in small multidisciplinary teams. As a member of your squad, you will play a vital role in end-to-end software and feature delivery of stable and purposeful Pega systems, encompassing feature analysis, development, configuration, testing, and support operations. You will also be expected to actively engage in Continuous Delivery initiatives, striving to automate various processes such as deployment, testing, system health checks, and other manual tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to User Story refinement - Analyze requirements, suggest modifications, and enrich them as necessary - Participate in the design of solutions - Implement high-quality applications - Develop applications closely aligned with Pega's out-of-the-box features - Create or modify Unit Tests for new functionalities - Participate in manual testing activities when required - Proactively monitor application quality - Ensure logs are free of unwanted messages and errors - Engage in the Peer Review process - Address and resolve incidents and problems as needed Skills Required: - Mandatory Skills: Pega SA This position requires a candidate with 6-12 years of experience, holding a degree in any field of graduation.
