Pediatric intensivist

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Intensivist to join our prestigious medical team. In this vital role, you will provide specialized medical care to critically ill children in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a wide array of complex medical conditions, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional and compassionate care. Your main responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnostics for critically ill pediatric patients, administering advanced life support and critical care interventions as needed, developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, effectively communicating with patients" families about treatment options, progress, and prognoses, participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research to enhance pediatric critical care practices, and providing mentorship and educational opportunities for medical trainees and staff. Requirements for this position include an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, completion of a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, board certification in Pediatric Critical Care, a current and valid medical license to practice in the relevant state, a minimum of 3 years of clinical practice in a PICU setting preferred, strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, commitment to providing family-centered care and support, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.,
