Job Description

As a skilled PCB Designer with expertise in Altium Designer, your role will involve creating high-quality PCB layouts for electronic products. Your responsibilities will include developing PCB layouts based on engineering schematics and mechanical constraints, designing single-layer, double-layer, and multilayer PCBs, performing routing for differential pairs and controlled impedance traces, ensuring design compliance with EMI/EMC guidelines and safety standards, collaborating with hardware engineers, generating manufacturing documentation, and troubleshooting design issues during prototype bring-up. Key Responsibilities: - Develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer based on engineering schematics and mechanical constraints. - Create, update, and maintain schematic symbols, footprints, libraries, and 3D models. - Design single-layer, double-layer, and multilayer PCBs, including high-speed, RF, and mixed-signal boards. - Perform routing for differential pairs, controlled impedance traces, power distribution networks, and sensitive analog sections. - Ensure design compliance with EMI/EMC guidelines, safety standards, and manufacturing requirements. - Conduct DRC checks, design validation, and review workflows using Altium tools. - Collaborate with hardware engineers for component placement and thermal/mechanical considerations. - Generate Gerber files, manufacturing drawings, fabrication documentation, and assembly files. - Work closely with PCB manufacturers and assemblers to ensure DFM/DFT compatibility. - Troubleshoot design issues and support prototype bring-up. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field. - 1-2 years of PCB design experience using Altium Designer. - Strong knowledge of PCB stack-up design, materials, and fabrication processes. - Experience with high-speed interfaces (USB, HDMI, LVDS, Ethernet, DDR, etc.). - Familiarity with analog, digital, and power electronics layouts. - Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, impedance control, and grounding strategies. - Ability to interpret engineering schematics, BOMs, and mechanical drawings. - Experience in creating PCB libraries following IPC standards (IPC-7351). - Good understanding of EMC/EMI design practices. - Strong communication and documentation skills. If you have experience designing flex, rigid-flex PCBs, knowledge of thermal analysis, 3D clearance checks, and enclosure integration, familiarity with other EDA tools, or experience working with specific electronic products, those would be considered as preferred qualifications. Please feel free to drop your resume for consideration. Best Regards, HR Department,
