Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

SUMMARY

Designs and develops printed circuit boards and circuit board assemblies working with the GHSP Team in Michigan, USA. Generates documents using computer aided drafting (CAD) for schematic, assembly, and fabrication drawings. Drafts layouts for simple to complex multi-layer boards. Ability to do Array Layouts. Works with engineers in the USA to identify and resolve design issues. Broad technical background designing printed circuit boards per engineering requirements. Works independently and is detail oriented with strong organizational skills and be able to identify and solve problems independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and layout high density printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Allegro 17.4

• CID or CID+ Certified Designer

• Experience in View Mate Tool

• Experience in PCB Panelization/ Need to work in Allegro Panel editor.

• Design multilayer stackups

• Place high density and high quantity of components

• Design Power / Ground planes

• Experience in Commercial and Automotive PCB Design

• Knowledge in ORCAD Schematic

• Generation of fabrication Files and Step Files

• Create and verify the Footprints, idea in Library Database

• Experience in Solving DFM/DFT related issues.

• Maintain standards compliance.

• Anticipate, identify, and solve problems independently.

• Be self-motivated and willing and able to operate with little direct guidance or supervision, work effectively with incomplete or un-defined requirements.

Education, Experience, Skill requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma or bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field • 1-3 years of experience

• Strong documentation and writing skills.

• Good oral and written communication skills in English and ability to work with a diverse range of software, hardware, and system engineers. • Highly analytical mindset with exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
