Payment Collection Assistant (AR)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients regarding overdue payments and resolve any discrepancies.
• Utilize computer skills and Excel to maintain and update financial records, tracking payment statuses and generating reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries and provide necessary documentation for payment processing.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to accounts receivable.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while communicating with clients, ensuring a positive experience throughout the payment collection process.
• Support the finance team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of

  2 to 5 years

  of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in payment processing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
