Pattern Maker – Foundry Moulding & Core Operations

Department: Pattern Shop / Foundry Operations

Reporting To: Pattern Shop In-Charge

Job Purpose: To design, manufacture, modify, and maintain patterns and core boxes used in foundry moulding and core-making operations, ensuring dimensional accuracy, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency in line with production requirements.

Key Responsibilities : Pattern Making & Maintenance

• Manufacture wooden, metal, or plastic patterns and core boxes as per engineering drawings.
• Modify and repair existing patterns to improve mould quality, casting accuracy, and productivity.
• Maintain pattern identification, numbering.
• Assist in trial moulds and first-off castings to validate pattern performance.
• Conduct self-inspection using measuring tools (vernier, gauges, templates).
• Support root cause analysis for casting defects related to pattern or core design.

Skills & Competencies Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of foundry moulding and core-making processes.
• Understanding of pattern materials (wood, aluminium)

Qualification: Graduate/ITI / Diploma in Pattern Making, Foundry Technology, or Mechanical Trade

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
