As a Dental Intern (Part-Time) in the OPD Support Role at Om Indu Hospital, Dhankot, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a trusted, charity-based healthcare facility that has been dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care to the local community for over a decade. Our hospital is currently expanding its dental services, and this internship offers aspiring Dental professionals a chance to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience within a supportive OPD environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting the senior dentist during oral examinations and procedures, managing patient flow, maintaining dental records, and preparing instruments for treatments. You will also be expected to provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients, educate them on oral hygiene and preventive dental care, and observe and learn diagnosis and treatment planning under supervision. Additionally, supporting sterilization and infection control protocols will be an essential part of your role. We are looking for BDS students in their internship year or 3rd/4th year from a recognized dental college, as well as recently graduated BDS professionals seeking clinical exposure. Ideal candidates should possess a basic understanding of dental anatomy, diagnosis, and clinical procedures, along with excellent communication and patient-handling skills. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced OPD setting, as well as the ability to work compassionately with underprivileged patients, are also crucial for this role.
