Patient Care Staff

Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.  Mobility: Helping patients move around their home and with transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment.  Medication Assistance: Reminding patients to take medications on time or collecting and delivering them.  Household Tasks: Preparing meals, doing laundry, and grocery shopping.  Health Monitoring: Recording vital signs (like temperature and respiration) and reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals.  Companionship and Emotional Support: Engaging clients in activities, providing social interaction, and reducing feelings of isolation.  Environment Maintenance: Ensuring the patient's living area is clean, organized, and safe.  Transportation: Accompanying patients to medical appointments or other outings.
