Job Description

As a Parts Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of spare and replacement parts for Aeroderivative Gas turbines on a global scale. You should have an interdisciplinary understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Controls. This position is based in India and involves collaboration with Siemens Energy teams in the USA and the UK. Prior to starting work, you will receive relevant tools and process training to excel in your role. Flexibility and a positive attitude towards learning are essential for this position. Your Role Overview: - Research and address Problem Reports related to Parts engineering tasks - Liaise with OEMs & Suppliers to understand scope of work - Collaborate with internal Siemens Energy groups for information gathering - Prepare Datasheets, Comparison sheets, and detailed descriptions of parts and systems - Ensure obsolete parts are clearly identified when replaced - Create Spare Parts Interchangeability Reports for Aeroderivative Gas turbine systems upon customer request Key Responsibilities: - Diploma/Bachelors/masters degree in engineering with 8-10 years of experience in oil and gas or power generation industry - Knowledge of various systems and instruments including pressure gauge, temperature sensors, etc. - Experience with Gas Turbine and Aero engine products preferred - Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PLM2020, etc. - Strong analytical skills to anticipate issues with suggested parts - Excellent communication and multitasking abilities - Methodological approach to structuring requirements and responsibilities - Maintain professionalism and presentability at all times - Bring innovative solutions to the table and have a digitalization and automation orientation The company values your proactive nature, detail-oriented skills, and ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
