Part-time Social Media Video Editor (Freelance / Remote)

Company overview

We’re a Qatar-based travel & tourism business (est. 2011) producing short social videos for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. We provide the topics and captions; you craft clean, engaging edits.

Role type

• Contract / Freelance (part-time, remote)
• Estimated workload: ~5–10 hours per week (4–5 short videos/week)
• Contract length: Ongoing/long-term if it’s a good fit

Compensation

• Fixed monthly stipend: QAR 400/month (approximately USD ~$110) for delivery of 4–5 videos per week (around 20 edits per month)

Note: This is a per-deliverable freelance contract, not an employment relationship.What you’ll do

• Edit 4–5 vertical short-form videos (9:16) per week for Reels/TikTok/Shorts
• We provide topics, content guidance, and captions/CTAs
• Add clean on-screen captions/subtitles, hooks, transitions, light motion graphics, SFX/music, and basic color/audio polish
• Deliver the first cut within 24–48 hours of brief; up to 1–2 minor revisions per video
• Export 1080×1920 H.264 MP4 (≤100MB when reasonable) + .srt if captions are separate

What you’ll need

• Proven short-form editing experience (please share links)
• Proficiency in CapCut / Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve (any is fine)
• Strong sense of pacing, text layout, and sound/music choices
• Reliable communication and on-time delivery

Nice to have (not required)

• Simple motion graphics (pop-ups, lower-thirds, stickers)
• Thumbnail/cover creation (Canva/Photoshop)
• Experience with travel/tourism content
