Position Summary:
The Dance Coach at EuroSchool - HSR will be responsible for providing expert instruction and guidance in various dance styles to students. The Dance Coach will lead dance classes, choreograph performances, and mentor students to develop their skills and passion for dance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance education, proficiency in multiple dance styles, and a commitment to fostering creativity, discipline, and confidence in students through dance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction and Choreography: Plan and lead dance classes for students in various age groups, teaching techniques, routines, and choreography in different dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and cultural dances.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive dance curriculum that aligns with student learning objectives, curriculum standards, and performance goals, ensuring progression and continuity in students' dance education.
• Performance Preparation: Choreograph and coordinate dance performances, recitals, competitions, and showcases, guiding students in rehearsal and performance techniques, stage presence, and artistic expression.
• Individualized Instruction: Provide personalized instruction and feedback to students, assessing their strengths and areas for improvement, and offering support and guidance to help them achieve their dance goals.
• Student Engagement: Engage and motivate students to actively participate in dance activities, fostering a love for dance, creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
• Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends, developments, and best practices in dance education, participating in workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other performing arts faculty, school administrators, and external stakeholders to coordinate dance-related events, performances, and interdisciplinary projects, promoting the integration of dance across the curriculum.
• Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of students during dance classes and activities, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters respect, cooperation, and support among students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a dance instructor, choreographer, or performer, with a strong background in various dance styles.
• Certification or training in dance education, pedagogy, or related areas is advantageous.
• Excellent dance technique and proficiency in choreography and performance.
• Passion for working with students of all ages and ability levels, fostering their artistic growth and self-confidence.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive school culture.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in dance education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
