Position Summary:

The Parent Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong, positive relationships between the school and its parent community. The role involves acting as a liaison between parents and school administration, ensuring that parents are informed, engaged, and involved in the educational experience of their children. The Parent Relationship Manager will work to foster effective communication, address parent concerns, and promote collaboration between families and the school to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
• Experience:
• Proven experience in a customer service, community relations, or educational environment, with a focus on working with parents or families.
• Experience in event planning, public relations
• Skills:
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal), with the ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse parent population.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations tactfully.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
• Empathy and patience in working with parents and children from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in using communication tools such as email, social media, and online platforms (e.g., school portals, newsletters).
