Responsibilities Execute plant commissioning, operations, and maintenance activities at client sites Maintain accurate documentation: checklists, daily logs, pre-commissioning & O&S records Conduct sampling, testing, and monitoring in line with client and statutory norms Operate, maintain, and repair instruments and equipment Handle dosing chemicals and biogas safely, following SOPs and safety protocols Foster strong client relationships through timely updates and professional communication Support project deadlines with a proactive, solution-oriented approach Qualifications B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc / Diploma in Environmental or Chemical Engineering 4–5+ years’ experience in wastewater plant commissioning/operations (anaerobic treatment experience is a plus) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel across India Fluency in Hindi; English proficiency preferred 📍 Locations: O&S: Uttar Pradesh & Karnataka Commissioning: Pan India, Saudi and Kenya 🌍 Why Paques? Role Purpose The Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will drive business development and solution sales in industrial wastewater treatment . Leveraging the collective technological expertise of SKion Water, the role will focus on enabling industrial clients with high-strength wastewater challenges to achieve regulatory compliance, optimize operations, and recover valuable resources. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across Saudi Arabia and the UAE in industrial wastewater treatment. Engage with industrial clients and EPC contractors to position SKion Water’s integrated solutions. Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals and client presentations. Collaborate with engineering and project teams across SKion Water to ensure accurate solution design and feasibility. Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation → qualification → bidding → negotiation → closure. Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat and strategic business. Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to refine growth strategies. (At Sales Manager level) Drive key account strategies and support mentoring of junior sales team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred). Sales Engineer: 3–6 years’ experience in industrial wastewater treatment solution sales. Sales Manager: 7–12 years’ progressive experience with proven key account management. Relevant experience for both roles must be in a B2B environment with direct end-user ownership, not through indirect component or equipment sales via channels. Solid understanding of biological processes (anaerobic, aerobic, nutrient removal, biogas recovery) and complementary treatment technologies. Knowledge of industrial wastewater regulations in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Fluency in English required; a high level of proficiency in spoken Arabic and industry-specific experience is a primary prerequisite for the role in Saudi Arabia.
