Role Overview: As a Field Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling the 3DEXPERIENCE platform – a cloud-based suite of tools for product design, lifecycle management, and collaboration. This is a hands-on, consultative role best suited for sales professionals passionate about digital transformation, cloud adoption, and B2B solution selling. Key Responsibilities: Sales Ownership: Manage the complete sales process: prospecting, lead qualification, value-based presentation/demonstrations, pricing discussions, negotiation, and closure. Build a robust and self-sustaining sales pipeline through outbound calls, events, referrals, and partnerships. Consultative Selling: Understand customer pain points around design inefficiencies, data silos, and poor collaboration workflows. Position 3DEXPERIENCE as the ideal digital solution for cloud-based PLM, design, and engineering collaboration. Articulate business value over technical complexity — emphasize ROI, process optimization, and strategic benefits. Customer Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with CXOs, Engineering Heads, and IT Decision-Makers. Deliver high-level product overviews and conduct solution demonstrations using standard templates and walkthroughs. Prepare and present tailored proposals, including commercial terms and ROI justifications. Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in digital engineering, SaaS-based PLM tools, and Industry 4.0 practices. Provide feedback to internal teams on market needs, competitor strategies, and client insights. Reporting & Coordination: Use CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts. Coordinate with marketing and post-sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction. Candidate Profile & Qualifications: Experience & Background: 0–5 years of experience in B2B software or enterprise technology sales. Prior experience in SaaS or cloud platform sales is preferred. Exposure to manufacturing, engineering services, or industrial design sectors is an advantage. Skills & Abilities: Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong consultative and value-selling approach; able to connect features to business benefits. Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working with minimal technical hand-holding. Basic aptitude for learning and demonstrating software platforms. Familiarity with CAD, PLM, or design collaboration software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus but not mandatory.
