Panel Wiremen

As a Control Panel Wiring Technician at the industrial electrical manufacturing and power distribution company, your role will involve performing end-to-end control panel wiring and assembly. This includes routing cables, terminating conductors, installing components, and completing panel internal wiring as per drawings and BOM. You will need to read and implement wiring and electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and wiring lists to ensure correct connections and functionality. Additionally, executing precise cable termination, crimping, ferrule application, and lugging using hand and powered tools to manufacturer torque specifications will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform end-to-end control panel wiring and assembly - Read and implement wiring and electrical schematics - Execute precise cable termination, crimping, ferrule application, and lugging - Carry out electrical checks and functional tests - Maintain cable management and dressing standards - Follow shop floor quality and safety protocols Qualifications Required: - ITI/NCTVT or equivalent trade certification in Electrician/Electrical trade preferred - Hands-on experience with control panel wiring, MCCs, distribution panels, or electrical switchgear assembly - Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and terminal schedules - Skilled in cable termination, crimping, ferrule application, and use of torque tools - Ability to perform multimeter-based continuity and insulation tests and document results - Familiarity with electrical safety practices, lockout-tagout (LOTO), and basic earthing procedures In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work in a stable, on-site manufacturing environment with clear shop-floor SOPs and a safety-first culture. There are also opportunities for skill upskilling on control wiring and panel testing, with the potential for internal progression to senior assembler or commissioning roles.
