PaloAlto Network Engineer with Cisco ISE

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

2. Should have experience working in Checkpoint FW Blades

3. Installing, Configuring, troubleshooting PA FW in vast deployment. Knowledge of troubleshooting independently complex network issues

4. Certificate based user authentication and troubleshooting authentication and authorization issues

5. Good understanding and experience of TACACS protocol. Cisco ISE device administration with TACACS

6. Perimeter Security: Working on perimeter security tools and services. Mcafee IPS, Splunk SEIM and logger

7. VPN: Configuring and troubleshooting site-to-site IPSEC VPN

8. Installing, configuring and troubleshooting PA FW issues

9. Configuring policy based rules, group based access rules

Good-to-Have

1. Should have experience on Cisco ISE devices

2. Should have experience in configuring static/floating routes IP RIP, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP. WAN QOS, policy based routing, redistribution

3. Should have good knowledge of VLAN, STP, L3 and L2 switches and ASR routers

4. Should have experience with custom application in checkpoint FW

5. Should be flexible to work in 24*7 support model

6. Should be aware of standard ITIL process i.e. incident management, change management, etc.

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Troubleshooting of incidents related to network and security component

• Implement changes in network infrastructure.

• Take part in analysis and designing for new project requirement

• Managing escalations in crisis situation.
