Job Description

As a seasoned professional, you will lead design, development, and optimization efforts within the Palo Alto Prisma suite, focusing on Prisma Access and Prisma Cloud. Your role will involve working on cloud-native architectures, data-plane applications, and scalable infrastructure to facilitate secure access and cloud operations. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable software features for Prisma Access or Prisma Cloud, leading the development of data-plane applications and cloud-native services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate PanOS features into Prisma platforms. Additionally, you will profile and tune systems software for efficient cloud operation, optimize microservices and containerized workloads for performance and reliability, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to team growth. You will actively participate in design reviews and technical strategy discussions, work closely with DevOps and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, build and automate performance testing scenarios, and ensure high reliability and quality through rigorous testing and validation. To be successful in this role, you should have 9-13 years of experience in software engineering or cloud infrastructure, strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or Go, a deep understanding of operating systems (Linux/Unix), networking (TCP/IP, TLS), and cloud platforms, experience with microservices, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines, as well as a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade software solutions. Preferred experience includes hands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access or Prisma Cloud, exposure to cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible, and strong debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills.,
