Paint/Prep Artist

Description:

At FutureWorks Media we are looking for experienced and talented Prep (Paint) Artists at our Chennai office location.

You will work closely with show leads to understand and deliver work according to the requirements.

Should have artistic & creative vision, understand and evaluate prep needs and quality-check your own work.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with BG Prep, Clean-up, Paint, matte paint.

• Experience in plate creation, marker removal, wire & rig removal and Matte Painting

• Creating clean plates, with help of reference plates provided and using 2d tracking.

• Needs to be familiar in project techniques using 3D tracking

• Analyzing Knowledge in color corrections.

• Strong knowledge of Paint & Prep workflow and other major aspects of post-production.

Essential Skills:

• Expertise at Nuke and Photoshop

• Sequence painting skills using Silhouette.

• Completes the allotted projects with the given mandays as per client requirements and maintaining quality standards set by the company

Desirable Skills:

• Willingness to learn new techniques

• Ability to work under pressure amongst a large team

• Easily assimilates feedback given by the leads and supervisors.
