Paint/Prep Artist

At FutureWorks Media, we are seeking experienced and talented Prep (Paint) Artists to join our team at the Chennai office location. In this role, you will collaborate closely with show leads to comprehend and fulfill work requirements effectively. You should possess an artistic and creative vision, capable of understanding and assessing prep needs, and ensuring the quality of your work meets the standards. Your responsibilities will include familiarity with BG Prep, Clean-up, Paint, and matte paint, as well as experience in plate creation, marker removal, wire & rig removal, and Matte Painting. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating clean plates using reference plates and 2D tracking, along with proficiency in project techniques involving 3D tracking and a strong understanding of color corrections. A thorough knowledge of Paint & Prep workflow and other key aspects of post-production is essential for this role. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Nuke and Photoshop, along with proficiency in sequence painting using Silhouette. It is crucial to complete assigned projects within the specified mandays as per client requirements while maintaining the quality standards established by the company. Desirable skills for this position include a willingness to learn new techniques, the ability to work effectively under pressure within a large team, and the capacity to incorporate feedback provided by leads and supervisors seamlessly.,
