Role & responsibilities To ensure all painting activities adhere to defined specifications, procedures, and quality standards. The role focuses on inspection, process improvement, defect management, and supplier quality to support product reliability and customer satisfaction. Monitor and ensure that all painting-related activities are performed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and quality control plans. Conduct inspection and testing for new product development and investigate customer complaints related to painting defects. Identify non-conformities in painting processes and verify corrective and preventive actions for closure. Set up and implement painting processes for new product models within painting booths. Monitor and evaluate supplier paint material quality and ensure alignment with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards. Analyze paint defects on the production line, coordinate with production teams, and implement corrective measures to improve output. Maintain responsibility for product quality, painting process integrity, and resolution of customer complaints. Actively contribute to process implementation and quality optimization initiatives within the painting function. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Paint Technology or equivalent. 3 to 8 years of experience in painting inspection, preferably in valves, heavy engineering, or automotive industries. Experience in handling customer complaints and conducting root cause analysis (RCA).
