Job Title: Plumber

Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Chief Engineer

Job Summary:

The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems and fixtures within the hotel premises. This includes water supply, drainage, sanitation, and other related equipment to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair all water supply and drainage systems throughout the property.
• Check and repair faucets, pipes, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid leakages, blockages, or breakdowns.
• Respond promptly to guest room or public area plumbing complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist in renovation or remodeling projects involving plumbing systems.
• Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, and water storage tanks.
• Monitor water pressure, temperature, and ensure proper water flow across the property.
• Maintain plumbing tools and materials in good condition and report requirements for replacements.
• Record daily work completed and report any major repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and hotel maintenance standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2–5 years of plumbing experience (preferably in hotel, resort, or commercial facility).
• Knowledge of water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
• Ability to diagnose problems and make quick, safe repairs.
• Familiar with plumbing tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance.
• Team player with a positive and responsible attitude.

Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or equivalent technical qualification preferred.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time; shift-based as per hotel operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
