Packing Assistant

Role Overview: As a Packing Assistant for our courier and logistics team in Kochi, you will be responsible for packing shipments securely and accurately for delivery. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in the packing area will be crucial in ensuring the safe handling of parcels. You will work closely with the dispatch team to coordinate the movement of packages and maintain packing records. Key Responsibilities: - Pack parcels and courier items securely following company guidelines - Label packages correctly with customer and shipment information - Handle fragile or high-value items with care - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area - Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors promptly - Coordinate with the dispatch team for timely package movement - Assist in inventory checks and maintain packing records Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10th pass or equivalent - Previous experience in packing/logistics/warehouse preferred but not mandatory - Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently - Basic knowledge of labeling and handling different types of packages - Physically fit and able to lift medium-weight packages - Team player with a positive attitude - Willingness to work in shifts if required Additional Details: The company offers a fixed monthly salary, provides uniform and safety gear, and offers on-the-job training.
