Looking for a Packaging Manager with 8 to 18 yrs of relevant experience for Hardgoods Export House, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Job Summary : The Packing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the packing operations to ensure efficient, high-quality packaging of products. This role involves managing the packing team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimizing packing processes to meet production targets and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities : Packing Operations Management : Oversee and manage daily packing operations to ensure timely and efficient packaging of products. Develop and implement packing procedures and standards to maintain product quality and reduce waste. Monitor packing lines and make adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Team Leadership : Lead, train, and motivate the packing team to achieve production goals and maintain high performance standards. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Quality Control : Ensure all products are packed according to company standards and customer specifications. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to identify and address defects or issues promptly. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Inventory and Resource Management : Manage packing materials inventory and ensure availability to avoid production delays. Coordinate with procurement to order and receive packing materials as needed. Optimize the use of resources to minimize costs and improve efficiency. Safety and Compliance : Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the packing area. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the packing team. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to packing and safety. Process Improvement : Identify areas for improvement in the packing process and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and reduce bottlenecks. Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations to incorporate best practices. Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate records of packing operations, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control logs. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on packing performance and improvements. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and regulations. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. IIP (Indian Institute of Packaging) Qualification will be preferred. Experience : 8 to 18 years of experience in packing or production management, preferably in a manufacturing or export environment. CTC: 10 to 13.50 LPA Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience of packing processes, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and production management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
