Key Responsibilities : - Packing Operations Management : Oversee and manage daily packing operations to ensure timely and efficient packaging of products. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to identify and address defects or issues promptly. Coordinate with procurement to order and receive packing materials as needed. Optimize the use of resources to minimize costs and improve efficiency. - Safety and Compliance : Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the packing area. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the packing team. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to packing and safety. - Process Improvement : Identify areas for improvement in the packing process and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and reduce bottlenecks. Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations to incorporate best practices. - Reporting and Documentation : Maintain accurate records of packing operations, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control logs. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on packing performance and improvements. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies and regulations. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. IIP (Indian Institute of Packaging) - Qualification will be preferred. Experience : 8 to 20 years of experience in packing or production management, preferably in a manufacturing or export environment. Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Experience of packing processes, materials, and equipment. Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures. Proficiency in MS Office and production management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Personal Attributes : Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
