Outsource Content Writer (Math and Social Science)

Position Overview

We are seeking highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented Outsource Content Writers for Maths and Social Science (Classes 3–10) to review and refine Self-Learning Lesson Plans and Levelwise Documents. This requirement has emerged due to the upcoming CBSE syllabus revisions for grades III–VIII for AY 2026–27, and the review of the newly prepared lesson plans for grades VI & VII in the current academic year.

The selected writers will ensure academic accuracy, clarity, alignment with curriculum outcomes, and adherence to CBSE expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review of Lesson Plans

• Evaluate lesson plans for Learning Objectives, Key Concepts, Teaching–Learning Activities, Differentiated Instructions, and Alignment with ELOs.
• Ensure activities and content align with CBSE guidelines, NCERT standards, and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
• Review and refine assessment questions, including questions for clickers and levelwise tests.
• Provide clear and constructive comments for corrections and improvements.

2. Review of Levelwise Question Documents

• Verify accuracy and quality of MCQs under each level:
• Knowledge – 20 MCQs
• Understanding – 20 MCQs
• Application – 16 MCQs
• Analysis – 16 MCQs
• CMD (Creative & Multidisciplinary) – 8 MCQs
• Ensure the questions reflect grade-appropriate difficulty and conceptual clarity.

3. Quality Assurance

• Identify conceptual errors, misconceptions, and content gaps.
• Rephrase, summarize, and simplify complex text where required.
• Align all content with specific learning outcomes and subject-wise pedagogical approaches.

4. Collaboration

• Work closely with internal academic teams for review cycles and timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to expected timelines and maintain high accuracy standards.

Required Skills & QualificationsAcademic & Subject Expertise

• Strong conceptual knowledge in Maths or Social Science (as applicable).
• Thorough understanding of the NCERT curriculum, CBSE syllabus, and grade-level academic expectations.

Pedagogical Knowledge

• Ability to align content with:
• Learning outcomes
• Competencies
• Bloom’s Taxonomy
• Subject-wise pedagogies (constructivist, activity-based learning, etc.)

Content Review & Editing Skills

• Capacity to evaluate content for conceptual accuracy and identify misconceptions.
• Strong skills in rewriting, summarizing, and simplifying content.
• Capability to refine objectives, key concepts, and assessment items.

Language Proficiency

• Excellent command over English for clear, structured, and error-free sentence formation.

Interview Process

• Written Test: Subject knowledge & content review skills.
• Subject Demo: Evaluation of pedagogical understanding and explanation skills.

Compensation Structure (Per Output Basis)Lesson Plan Review

• Lessons up to 5 periods: ₹750 per lesson
• Lessons with 6 or more periods: ₹1,000 per lesson

Levelwise Document Review

• Flat rate: ₹1,000 per lesson
