OT Technician (Scrub)

Role Overview: As a Technician in the Operation Theatre department, your primary responsibilities will include receiving patients for surgery, preparing them for the procedure, assisting doctors during surgeries, maintaining and sterilizing equipment, ensuring proper documentation, and following infection control guidelines. You will also be required to prioritize emergency cases, maintain confidentiality, and participate in quality assurance activities. Key Responsibilities: - Receive patients for surgery and verify their identification. - Check patient files for proper documentation. - Prepare patients for surgery. - Assist doctors during surgeries. - Check and update emergency medicines, oxygen, and other drugs in the Operation Theatre. - Sterilize and maintain equipment in the Operation Theatre. - Ensure proper sterilization practices are followed. - Follow infection control guidelines. - Coordinate with consultants or respective departments for emergency cases. - Maintain departmental documentation. - Treat all communication confidentially. - Participate in quality assurance/quality control activities. - Perform any assigned tasks as needed. - Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Operation Theatre/Anesthesia. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. (Note: Dress code and duty hours will be as per scheduled requirements.),
