OT TECHNICIAN

You will be responsible for preparing the Operating Theater by setting up the necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies before surgeries. It is crucial to ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and in optimal working condition. Your role will involve assisting in positioning and draping patients for surgery while strictly following aseptic techniques. During surgeries, you will provide direct support to surgeons and nurses during cardiac procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures. Monitoring and managing surgical equipment throughout operations to ensure smooth and efficient procedures is essential. Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating theater throughout the surgery is a key responsibility. After each surgery, you will assist in cleaning and disinfecting the operating theater and sterilize instruments for the next procedure. Documenting and reporting any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate department is part of your post-operative duties. Collaboration and coordination are vital aspects of this role. You will work closely with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and effective teamwork. Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely availability of required supplies and equipment is also expected. This position is based at Dr. KNS M Hospital, Jalalpur location.
