Job Description

Shall report to the Doctors/SMO directly.
Shall supervise the work of housekeeping staff in the operation theatre and recovery room.
Shall be responsible for storage, maintenance and accounting of instruments, tables and other supplies belonging to the operation theatre and recovery room.
Shall take adequate precautions against fire and other hazards.
Shall keep the emergency outfit up to date and in good working order in the theatre.
Shall supervise cleanliness and maintenance of the operating theatre.
Shall see the proper sterilization of instruments, linen and other appliances before use.
Shall see the periodic testing of electric equipment with the help of electricians.
Shall ensure aseptic conditions in clean theatres.
Shall arrange conveyance for patients to and from the operating theatre.
Shall be responsible for proper maintenance and to keep all autoclave in the sterile rooms.
Shall sterilize the supplies as needed in the wards/departments of the hospitals.
Shall arrange and issue ward packs and theatre packs has on when required basis.
Shall keep proper account of receipt and issue of various articles dealt with by the Central Sterilization Department.
Shall do a weekly checkup of losses and instituting measures to reduce the losses.
Shall maintain relevant records and charts.
Any other work given by the Doctors/SMO.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
