OT Scrub Nurse

Job Description: As a member of the surgical team, your role involves preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons during procedures, ensuring the proper handling of instruments and equipment, maintaining patient safety and documentation, and assisting in postoperative responsibilities. You will also be responsible for coordinating with various healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth operation theater flow. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and necessary equipment. - Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field. - Ensure proper functioning and sterilization of surgical instruments before and after the surgery. - Verify patient identity, surgical site, and consent with the surgical team. - Assist in safe transfer of the patient to the recovery or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). - Coordinate with anesthetists, circulating nurses, and surgeons to ensure smooth OT flow. - Follow infection control, sterilization, and waste disposal protocols strictly.
