Job Type: Full-time | Day Shift (Monday to Saturday)

About the Role

Lux Hospitals is hiring an experienced Scrub Nurse to assist surgeons during laparoscopic and general surgeries. The role involves direct surgical assistance — including managing cameras during laparoscopic procedures, handling surgical instruments, and ensuring aseptic conditions throughout the surgery.
Minimum 1 year of prior scrub nurse experience is mandatory. Candidates without relevant scrub experience are requested not to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgeries by providing the required surgical instruments, equipment, and camera handling in laparoscopic cases.
• Prepare the sterile field and arrange instruments before every procedure.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques and OT discipline during surgeries.
• Support the surgical team throughout the procedure with anticipation and precision.
• Handle specimen collection, instrument counts, and surgical documentation as per protocol.
• Coordinate with circulating nurses for efficient workflow inside the OT.
• Participate in case setup, turnover, and post-operative equipment handling.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Scrub Nurse in a hospital setup (mandatory).
• Qualification: B.Sc / GNM Operation therater Nurse / Technician.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, laparoscopic procedures, and sterile techniques.
• Languages: Fluency in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
• Location: Candidates residing in or near Gachibowli, Hyderabad are preferred.

Shift Timings

• Day Shift only (Monday to Saturday)
