Job Description

Role Overview: As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients. Your main responsibilities will involve guiding patients through therapeutic activities and exercises aimed at improving their function, mobility, and independence, monitoring and documenting patient progress, preparing materials and equipment for treatment sessions, educating patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Key Responsibilities: - Guiding patients through therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance their function, mobility, and independence. - Monitoring and documenting patient progress and communicating observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist. - Preparing materials and equipment required for treatment sessions to ensure smooth execution. - Educating patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and providing guidance on home exercise programs. - Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment for the well-being of patients. Qualifications Required: - Degree or certification in Occupational Therapy Assistance. - Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and the work location is in person.,
