The Senior Operator Granulation is responsible for the operation and monitoring of granulation equipment in the production of pharmaceutical formulations. This role ensures that the granulation process is carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with GMP and company standards to meet production targets and product quality requirements.
Operate and monitor granulation machines and associated equipment according to batch manufacturing instructions and SOPs.Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols during production.Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain process parameters within specified limits.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.Document production activities accurately in batch records and logbooks.Coordinate with production supervisors and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance and product quality.Participate in cleaning, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities for granulation equipment.Mentor and guide junior operators and trainees in safe and efficient operation procedures.Report deviations, incidents, and quality issues promptly to the concerned departments.
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Chemical / Pharmaceutical discipline or equivalent.4-6 years of experience in granulation or pharmaceutical production operations.Strong understanding of granulation process and equipment operation.Knowledge of GMP and safety standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing.Ability to work in shifts and handle production pressures.Good communication and team coordination skills.
