Job Title: Marketing Operations & Client Service Department: Marketing Reports To: Director of Marketing / Head of Marketing Location: ORO – The Estate Bangalore Nandi Hills Job Summary: The Marketing Operations & Client Service professional is a pivotal role bridging the gap between marketing strategy and execution, while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. This individual will optimize marketing processes, manage marketing technology, and serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring smooth campaign delivery and effective communication of marketing initiatives and results. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing department, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Manage and optimize marketing technology stack (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms). Develop and implement standardized marketing workflows, project management methodologies, and best practices. Ensure data integrity and segmentation within marketing databases for targeted campaigns. Manage marketing budgets, track expenditures, and generate financial reports. Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Revenue, F&B, Operations) to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Oversee vendor relationships for marketing services (e.g., creative agencies, PR firms, media buyers). Develop and maintain marketing calendars, ensuring timely execution of campaigns and promotions. Analyse marketing performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies. Client Service (Internal & External) Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (e.g., General Managers, Department Heads) regarding marketing requests and updates. Effectively communicate marketing strategies, campaign plans, and results to internal teams. Gather feedback from internal stakeholders to continuously improve marketing support and services. Coordinate with external agencies and partners, ensuring timely delivery of assets and adherence to brand guidelines. Assist in managing client relationships for specific marketing initiatives, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Prepare and present marketing reports and performance dashboards to internal stakeholders. Address and resolve any marketing-related inquiries or issues from internal or external parties promptly and professionally. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or client service, preferably within the hospitality or service industry. Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and digital marketing channels. Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello). Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations. Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and agency roadshows to build visibility and network. Ensure seamless communication and handover of confirmed bookings to the hotel's operational teams. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all agency interactions, proposals, and contracts in the CRM system. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the hospitality or event industry, with a strong focus on agency relations. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful partnerships. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
