Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Retail Pharmacist to join our team. You will be responsible for managing the pharmacy’s daily operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Patient Care and Consultation: - Provide accurate medication dispensing and comprehensive consultations to patients. - Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. - Maintain a patient database and review with them once their medicines are nearing exhaustion. - Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. 2. Operational Excellence: - Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventory. - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Schedule H regulations. - Conduct internal process audits and stock audits to maintain inventory integrity. 3. Team Collaboration and Training: - Work effectively with clinic staff and doctors to coordinate patient care. - Train new entrants on pharmacy protocols and procedures. - Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly internal meetings to address issues related to staff performance, mental health, and suggestions for improving the working environment and workflow. 4. Technology Proficiency: - Utilize computer applications such as Word, Excel, and billing software efficiently. - Ensure that all data, including physical and stock records, are accurately maintained in the system database. - Monitor and verify that all Schedule H registers are duly entered and signed. 5. Marketing and Community Engagement: - Design posters and promotional materials to enhance pharmacy visibility and community outreach. - Create training videos that outline protocols and best practices for staff. - Conduct marketing campaigns to promote pharmacy services and products. - Engage with customers proactively to enhance their overall experience. 6. Pharmacological Expertise: - Demonstrate a sound understanding of pharmacological names and their corresponding trade names. - Ensure proper storage methods are adhered to for all medications. 7. Environmental Standards: - Maintain a well-lit, cool, and inviting pharmacy environment, ensuring it exudes a pleasant scent. - Ensure adequate stock of stationery and other essential supplies as per operational needs. - Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure a clean and organized pharmacy environment. Qualifications: - D. Pharm or 12th standard pass with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. - Valid pharmacy license to practice in Tamil Nadu. - Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred. - Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, and billing software). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. -Proficient in Tamil(Speaking, Reading/Writing), English(Basic Speaking, Reading/Writing), Hindi(Basic Speaking, Reading/Writing(Bonus)) Preferred Skills: - Experience in marketing and community outreach. - Knowledge of graphic design software for poster creation. - Experience in conducting audits and process improvement initiatives. - Familiarity with video editing software for training content.
