Job Title: Specialist – New Business Development Company: OMAL (Orient Micro Abrasives Limited) Location: Delhi NCR / PAN India Role Summary We are hiring a Sales Executive – New Business Development for OMAL’s Sales MDO (Managing Director’s Office). Your mission: open doors, win accounts, grow revenue. Once a client places their first order, your role ends, and the client will be handed over to the Sales Coordination & CRM team for regular follow-up and relationship building. Key Responsibilities Prospect and acquire new clients through self-generated leads and company-provided leads. Work on leads generated from company website enquiries, exhibitions, and existing databases. Main focus: Convert prospects into active clients who place their first order. Maintain a simple Excel sheet of daily visits, enquiries handled, and clients onboarded. Share market intelligence with management (competitor prices, demand shifts, new opportunities). Travel locally on own bike (with allowances provided); full allowance for outstation travel. (Optional) Provide support to marketing team if you have basic content/design skills. Performance Measurement (KPI) Your performance will be measured only on client acquisition and conversion, not revenue. Evaluation Metrics: 1. Number of new clients acquired per month/quarter. 2. Conversion rate of enquiries/leads into confirmed clients. 3. Speed of conversion (time taken from enquiry/lead to first order). 4. Quality of clients onboarded (active order placement, long-term potential). 5. Market insights reported to management. Not Evaluated On: Revenue generated. Repeat orders. Collection/payment follow-up. Qualifications & Skills Graduate in Business/Science (MBA desirable). 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales / client acquisition. Strong prospecting and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation ability. Self-driven and willing to travel extensively. Why Join OMAL?
