O.A.K Studio is looking for a seasoned Unreal Engine programmer with a solid C++ foundation to help build, optimize, and ship high‑quality game features. If you’ve shipped titles or maintain a strong playable portfolio—and you’re comfortable integrating with cloud backends (Azure/AWS)—we’d love to talk. What you’ll do Design, implement, and optimize gameplay and systems code in C++ within Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) . Collaborate with designers, artists, and producers to deliver performant, maintainable features. Integrate online/backend services (e.g., authentication, leaderboards, telemetry, cloud saves) using Azure/AWS and REST/WebSocket APIs. Profile and optimize CPU/GPU performance, memory usage, and load times. Write clean, documented code and contribute to code reviews and technical planning. Must‑have 4+ years professional experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) and modern C++ . Strong understanding of Unreal subsystems (Actors/Components, Gameplay Framework, Replication, Blueprints/C++ interop). Proven track record: shipped at least one game or compelling portfolio with playable builds. Cloud/backend familiarity: Azure and/or AWS (e.g., Functions/Lambda, App Services/EC2, storage, identity). Proficiency with source control (Git) and collaborative workflows. Nice to have Experience with multiplayer/online features (Unreal Online Subsystem, dedicated servers, session management).
