Oracle VBCS Developer

As an Oracle VBCS Developer at our dynamic organization, your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, create intuitive user interfaces, integrate with backend systems, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop web-based applications using Oracle VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service). - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional applications. - Build and customize UI/UX components to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces for cloud applications. - Integrate VBCS applications with backend systems, including databases, Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Oracle ERP, HCM), and third-party APIs. - Write RESTful Web Services and integrate with APIs to enhance application functionality. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth and error-free operation. - Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing, debugging, and deployment of applications. - Assist in the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. - Maintain and update VBCS applications, including new releases and version upgrades. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall team knowledge sharing. Key Skills and Requirements: - Proven experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). - Proficiency in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Oracle JET. - Experience with backend integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, and Oracle Cloud services. - Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL. - Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC), or similar Oracle Cloud applications is a plus. - Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and version control tools like Git. - Experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in Oracle Cloud or Oracle VBCS is a plus. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies. - Knowledge of other Oracle Cloud services, such as Oracle ERP, Oracle CX, and Oracle HCM.,
