Oracle PLSQL Developer / Work from Office Only

Job Summary:

• Design and implement Database Objects to maintain the organizational data and maintain the integrity of the relational data.
• Design and Implement Database procedures and complex queries to retrieve data for different needs of the organization.
• Guide Application development teams walk through the data models and help them create data retrieval queries.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
• Data Transformations, ETL programming from Origin to Source Data Mapping capabilities.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Review procedures in database management system manuals for making changes to database.
• Revise company definition of data as defined in data dictionary.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
• Establish and calculate optimum values for database parameters, using manuals and calculator.

Professional Experience:

• 3-8 years experience with PL/SQL programming and performance tuning
• Experience in modeling Databases
• Experience in writing Data transformation ETL procedures

Technical Skills:

• Must have experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL Development & UNIX, Shell scripting.

• Good understanding of data retrieval procedures adopted by applications
• Familiarity with XML, T-SQL.
• Ability to extract, compare, manage data in a database

Specialized Skills:

• Must be skilled at establishing and maintaining consistency of a products performance, function and physical attributes
