Job Overview:

Oracle R12 Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle E-Business Suite configurations.

Configuration and Customization:

  • Configure Oracle E-Business Suite R12 modules to meet business process needs.
  • Work with development teams for any required customizations and extensions to modules.

Module Expertise:

  • Serve as a

    subject matter expert

    for specific Oracle E-Business Suite modules (e.g.,

    Oracle Financials

    ,

    Oracle Supply Chain

    ,

    Oracle HRMS

    ).
  • Stay informed about

    module updates

    and

    enhancements

    to ensure the system remains up-to-date.

End-User Training:

  • Conduct

    training sessions

    for end-users on Oracle E-Business Suite functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support and address user queries promptly.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with technical teams.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain

    functional documentation

    for Oracle E-Business Suite configurations and processes.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date with system changes and updates.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for

    process improvements

    and

    system optimizations

    within Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements that drive business value.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience

    with

    Oracle E-Business Suite R12

    in a functional or technical role, with a focus on key modules.
  • Strong knowledge in

    Oracle Financials

    ,

    Supply Chain

    , or

    HRMS

    .
  • Experience with

    business requirements gathering

    and

    system configurations

    in Oracle.
  • Strong

    communication skills

    to interact with business stakeholders and end-users.
  • Problem-solving abilities

    and experience troubleshooting issues in Oracle applications.
  • Experience with

    end-user training

    and creating user documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in

    Oracle E-Business Suite R12

    (e.g., Oracle Financials, Oracle Supply Chain) would be an advantage.
  • Experience with

    Oracle Cloud

    or other Oracle applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Oracle

    PL/SQL

    or

    Apex

    is beneficial.
